This study's findings are dubious, considering that Kurds are found to be lighter skinned than Turks, which is in contradiction with the real life. European scores are dubious too. Clearly this study lacks the resolution to capture the real skin color differences between relatively close regions.
ResponderEliminarWell, they are based on a scientific methodoloy (skin reflectance) and is certainly better than all those anthropologic maps which are more based on stereotypes or factors like UV rays. It's far from perfect, but as of now the most objective and scientific study done on skin tone.
